Helen and Robbie’s maternity session in the West Bottoms was such a fun and laid-back evening. The West Bottoms is one of my favorite spots in Kansas City, with its mix of old brick buildings and cobblestone streets. It has so much character, and it was the perfect backdrop for their photos.

Helen looked amazing in her rust-colored dress, and Robbie kept everything super chill, making her laugh and just being the best partner. You could tell they were soaking up this moment together, excited but calm before their little one arrives.

I love being able to freeze these moments for people, especially during such an exciting time in their lives. It’s the kind of thing you look back on and feel all the emotions again.
