I had the best time hanging out with my friends Tayton and Trevor for a couples session in Kansas City's Crossroads district. Can you believe I’ve been friends with Tayton for 22 years?! He has been a muse for me since day one when we used to play with light leaks and long exposure in my parent’s dark basement in high school. 😂

Thankfully, though, this session wasn’t held in a dark basement.
This night was spent exploring the city, playing with those vibrant neon lights and the glow of KC’s gorgeous lit-up skyline.

Their trust in me made capturing these moments feel so effortless—nothing but fun, laughs, and real connection. I’m so thankful they let me get creative and experiment with the lights, making this session one to remember!

With the neon glow, the city buzz, and all the laughs, we ended up with something that felt real, spontaneous, and completely unforgettable.
