A downtown love story

During our virtual consult, I asked Alex what she’d love to see captured about her and Jimmy’s love. Her answer came out so honest and full of feeling that we both ended up crying right there on the call!

If you know anything about me, I’m a crier and damn proud of it.

She talked about how they’re best friends. How they’re such a good team. How it feels like she waited a long time for a love like this. It was such a real and honest response, and I knew this session needed to reflect that.

They didn’t want anything overly posed. Just the two of them hanging out downtown, like someone was quietly tagging along with a camera. So that’s exactly what we did.

We wandered around aimlessly, they laughed, and somewhere in between the sidewalks and city lights, they let me in on something beautiful.

The kind of love that feels both rare and completely at home.

I cannot wait to join them on their wedding day.
